ICLTC 2014 Call for Abstracts

隨著數位時代的來臨，現代人常常必須面對大量且多元的多媒體訊息，如何基於人類有限的認知記憶容量，獲得最大的學習成效，是當前數位學習界共同努力的目標。認知負荷理論（Cognitive Load Theory）即是用來達成上述目標時最常奠基的理論。也因此，近年來認知負荷理論儼然已經成為數位學習最重要的理論之一。逐漸的，認知負荷理論相關研究學者已經匯集成一群重要的學術社群。2007年，在認知負荷理論的提出者Professor John Sweller與認知負荷重要評量工具的提出者Professor Fred Paas的號召之下，在認知負荷理論的重鎮—澳洲新南威爾斯大學，舉辦了第一屆認知負荷理論國際研討會(International Cognitive Load Theory Conference, ICLTC)。

2014年6月23至26日間將在臺北舉辦第七屆國際認知負荷理論研討會。會議期間有三項主要活動進行：(1) 第七屆國際認知負荷理論研討會,(2)國際認知負荷理論學會成立大會,和(3) 認知負荷理論工作坊。謹代表ICLTC 2014籌備委員會，我們誠摯的邀請您參與此一盛會。此次研討會預期將聚集許多對認知負荷研究有興趣的國際研究人員、學者、教育家和研究生，會議預計將有來自不同國家的超過100位與會人員。秉承認知負荷理論研討會一貫的傳統，此次研討會將給新生代研究人員、研究生以及經驗豐富的研究學者提供一個展現和分享研究成果的舞臺。ICLTC 2014將是展現和分享你在認知負荷理論領域研究和經驗的一個絕佳的機會。

本次研討會共有三種報告形式：口頭長篇論文、口頭短篇論文、和海報。摘要徵文的截止日期為2014年1月31日。您可以在會議網站http://www.iclta.net/icltc2014/Papers.html上提交您的論文摘要。所有被接受的摘要都將被包括在第七屆國際認知負荷研討會的論文集中。

Dear colleagues,

We are glad to inform you that ICLTC2014 (7th International Cognitive Load Theory Conference) will be held on the 24th, 25th and 26th of June 2014 in Taipei (Taiwan).

It brings together a wide range of international researchers, scholars, educators, and research students interested in Cognitive Load Theory. Over 100 researchers, scholars, educators and research students from many different countries are expected. As in previous years, ICLTC will provide a venue encouraging early-stage researchers and students as well as experienced researchers to present and share their research outcomes. ICLTC2014 will be an excellent opportunity to present and share your research and experiences in the field of Cognitive Load Theory.

There will be 3 presentation formats: oral regular paper, oral shortpaper, or a poster presentation.

The deadline for abstracts submission is January 31th 2014.

All accepted abstracts and papers will be included in the 7th International Cognitive Load Theory Conference Proceeding. Authors of suitable work will be invited to develop full manuscripts for a special issue.
