2014 International Science Education Conference -- Singapore


PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES - INVESTING IN OUR FUTUREThe theme questions the arbitrary boundaries that have shaped current practices and mindsets in science education. With the aim to develop scientifically literate global citizens, the conference examines the relevance of current science education in meeting the demands and goals of the future. We hope that through the exchange and in-depth discussion of progressive ideas, existing assumptions and boundaries limiting effective science teaching and learning may be replaced by new forms of knowledge that will better prepare learners for future uncertainty and challenges.
