Ewha Womans University (Chief Organizer: Professor Rae Young Kim) will host the 2013 Spring Conference on Mathematics Education (i.e., the 50th Korean National Meeting of Mathematics Education).

Call for Papers:
• Papers written in English, which are prepared in the journal article format and accepted for RME publication (All articles for RME will be sent to three referees for peer reviewing.), will be published in:
Journal of the Korean Society of Mathematical Education Series D:
RESEARCH IN MATHEMATICAL EDUCATION (RME)
Volume 17, Number 1 (March, 2013)
• There are page-charges associated with articles appearing in the journal. The charges are US$200 for the first six pages or less and US$20 for each additional page. These charges are waived (limit: 10 pages a person) if the author or authors have paid the Registration Fees, personally attend the meeting to present the paper, and have willingness to review three papers written by others.
• Papers written in English, which are accepted for presentation at the Meeting but not accepted for RME, will be published in the Proceedings of the Meeting. Submission of Papers:
• Submissions of the papers can be done by email at ksme_ser_d@yahoo.co.kr
• The deadline of applying for a paper presentation at the International Sessions of Oral Delivery or the Poster Session is February 5, 2013. If you want your article to be considered for publication in the journal RME, please submit the article until February 5, 2013.

• Please send us the title of the article, the names of authors with affiliations, the abstract not exceeding 100 words, key words, MESC Classification

• The limit of a poster is A0 size (w 840mm × h 1188mm).
• If you submit the full article for the posters before February 5, 1013, it may appear in the journal RME if it is suitable for the journal article. All articles for the journal RME will be sent to three referees for blind reviewing before making the final decision.

Airports in Seoul
• Seoul has two international airports:
- Incheon Int’l Airport http://www.airport.kr/eng/ is the major airport in Korea and there are direct flights from most cities of the world.
- Gimpo Int’l Airport: http://gimpo.airport.co.kr/doc/gimpo_eng/ is the nearest airport to the center of Seoul. There are direct flights from many cities of East Asia.

- If you open the above link, you will find Search box for Shortest Route at left upper conner: Put Departure station and Arrival station using bottons. From Incheon Int’l Airport to EwhaWomansUniv.
• If you take the airport train (AREX), station please transfer to No. 2 (Green Line) east bound at Hongik Univ. Station and then get off at Ewha Womans Univ. Station.
• You have to pay 4,450Won = fare 3,950Won + deposit 500Won when you buy a ticket.. At ticket machine just push buttons. When you get off at Ewha Womans Univ. Station just put the used ticket to the refund machine; you will get back the deposit 500Won. From Gimpo Int’l Airport to EwhaWomansUniv. • At Gimpo Int’l Airport you may take the airport train (AREX) and then at “Hongik Univ.” Station transfer to No. 2 (Green Line) east bound and get off at “Ewha Womans Univ.” Station. You have to pay 1,850Won = fare 1,350Won + deposit 500Won when you buy a ticket. At ticket machine just push buttons. When you get off at Ewha Womans Univ.
